Dealmakers: CBRE team brokers $199M in apartment sales

Apartment complexes in Chandler, Tempe and Phoenix recently have sold for a combined $199.4 million.

CBRE’s Tyler Anderson, Sean Cunningham, Asher Gunter and Matt Peschbrokered each of the deals.

• Scottsdale-based Everest Holdings bought the 512-unit Biscayne Bay apartments in Chandler for $71.5 million. The seller was Seattle-based PrivatePortfolio Group. The complex was built in 2000 and is located on Warner Road and Arizona Avenue in Chandler.

• California-based DiNapoli Capital Partners has bought the Alta Tempe apartments from Wood Partners for $67.9 million. The Class A complex was built in 2015 and has 296 units. It’s located in University Drive at Dorsey Lane.

• The seller in the Chandler deal — Seattle’s PrivatePortfolio Group — bought the Elevation on Central apartments in Phoenix for $60 million. The seller was Vedura Residential. The Elevation complex has 266 units. The Class A property was built in 2016. It is located in midtown Phoenix on Central Avenue near Highland Street.
